Izza Kizza

Izza Kizza is one crazy rapper out of Georgia who is currently signed to Timbaland's record label. I stumbled across this dude a couple years back (as in 2, since a couple is 2 people, if your 3 in ya damn couple well good for you) while checking out some hip hop blogs.

First song I heard was They're Everywhere and is still the one I dig the most. It has such a sick beat with Kizza spitting some of the most illogical lyrics in the weirdest way I had ever heard. This track was released on his first mixtape Kizzaland, as well as Red Wine which is another great song.

The main reason I'm talking about him right now is his new music clip "Ooh La La" off the Connect the Dots EP he recently released.

Might as well throw in another dope clip from this guy.

That Unabomber Punani

The new Connect the Dots EP is definitely worth checking out on iTunes. To end this off well here's a few extras.

I Love Techno 2009

Once again, I Love Techno kept some 35 000 techno fans from around the world dancing till late in the morning. This huge event takes place in Belgium and has been going strong since 1995. As always, the lineup is incredible and WHEN WILL MONTREAL HAVE SOMETHING AS MAD! Who knows, here are a few sets I found interesting

Brodinski

Vitalic

A-Trak

Mmm Cookies

Well I find it a damn shame to have missed out on Chewy Chocolate Cookies in Montreal not long ago. I've been digging CCC for some time now and the new remixes do not dissapoint.
To start off, a remix of We all wanna be Prince by Felix Da Housecat (check out the original clip, you gotta love those hipster chicks)

We All Wanna Be Prince (CCC Remix)

And as I'm at it all throw in a couple other tracks by CCC

The Bloody Beetroots - Warped (CCC Remix)
Really enjoy the vocals on this mix!

CCC - It Was Only A Kiss
Good high tempo electro

Busy P - Pedrophilia (Chewy Chocolate Cookies Remix)
Sounds like the same beat as It Was Only A Kiss but with vocals and more work put into it. Much better in my opinion!

The Cool Kids - 88 (CCC Remix)
Insane work of CCC on this remix of 88 by The Cool Kids

Kickin' it old school

Like last year, BET decided for the Hip Hop awards to throw ciphers with some of the biggest names of the industry. Last year they had peeps like Ace Hood, Hurricane Chris, Fabolous, Jadakiss... But this year they went with more of a New York/east coast orriented line up, just chek it out for yourself. Plus DJ Premier is spinnin the whole thing so cant get better then that. They also managed to get mos def and eminem on the same cipher with black thought wich is pretty random i think, whatever... Freestyle to its best.

Im also throwing the video from last years' 1st part, it got hurricane chris, wich does alright i guess, k'naan rippin the shit and you also need to chek bun b and q tip doing there thang like usual. Peace

To finish heres a chill track to vibe with Gift of Gab (member of Blackalicious), Del The Funky Homosapien and Brother Ali. enjoy

Let's make songs, so eventually we can get these helicopters

Instead of just posting random videos, I think it's about time to drop knowledge on you chump suckers.

Introducing....(drum roll)

Ninja - fucking - sonik

I first heard rumblings about Ninjasonik when their first(?) single, "Tight Pants" dropped a while back. While I admit that I wasn't feeling the vibe at first, til I saw videos and pictures of their parties, and figured I was definitely missing out on something, so I started listening to more. They are a trio from New York, making somewhat un-classifiable music (electro-rap, hipster-rap, party-rap or whatever the fuck you want to call it), and are arguably making some of the funnest (and hated on) music out there. Love em or hate em, they are deeply ingrained in the New York party, DJ, fashion & music scene, and are not going anywhere, unless of course they get those helicopters.

I uploaded a few of my favorite songs by them, so czech it ouuuuuuut.

Ninjasonik remix of Major Lazer's Hold the Line

..along with the nifty video

Ninjasonik's remix of Udachi & Jubilee's Paypur

That's all you're getting for today, kiddies. See you next time.
